Aluminum
An industry-first, the START sustainability label provides up to 14 ESG metrics of the production process and provenance information on all our aluminium sites. START continues to build assurance through our existing ecosystems, such as the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI).
Copper cathode
Building on international assurances such as ICMM and the Copper Mark, START provides copper customers and end users with concrete facts about the sustainable sourcing and production of Rio Tinto Kennecott copper.
Metal powders
Manufactured from high-purity iron produced by Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium in Canada, START gives metal powders customers visibility into supply chain processes.
